Your Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer, Operator Stations for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will...

 

  • Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings for construction operator station structures and interiors (plastic consoles, rubber floor mats, headliners, roof components, ect.).
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with the appropriate functional team members as you follow the parts you are responsible for through the product delivery process (PDP).
  • Provide leadership and work coordination for contract and ETEC (Enterprise Technology Engineering Center).

What Skills You Need

  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Experience with or desire to learn operator station structures and interiors.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, typically up to 10%.

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 1 or more years experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
  • Experience with modeling and the manufacturing processes of plastics.
  • Experience with modeling and the manufacturing processes of structures and sheet metal. 
  • Experience with business processes (i.e., Windchill, NCCA, PDMLink, SAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Construction, Forestry, or Ag off-road equipment.

 

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
