General Summary

COLSA's Corporate IT department is looking for a Systems Analyst Intern. In this role you will work along side our systems engineers and analysts managing our corporate IT environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

  • Assists with a wide range of duties in supporting desktops, servers and network infrastructure
  • Assists with creation and analysis of routine projects, programs, policies and procedures *
  • Performs assigned intern projects and follows them to completion *
  • Supports more experienced personnel *

Required Experience

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a focus in an IT/technical field. 
  • Must be willing and able to relocate to Huntsville, AL at his/her own expense for duration of internship
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • US Citizenship required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with managing Microsoft server and desktop environments
  • Familiar with managing VMWare environments to include Horizon
  • Experience using Power Automate, Microsoft Forms and SharePoint
  • Experience and/or projects related to scope of internship
