Launch Academy - Experiential Learning and Internship Program
Launch Academy is an experiential learning program for students who are from underrepresented backgrounds to learn more about the development and management of retail real estate. Women and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) students are strongly encouraged to apply.
Students from various academic backgrounds – ranging from finance to philosophy – have leveraged this program to secure summer internships as well as full-time positions after graduation.

Application Requirements
- Complete application
- Resume
- College transcript (showing minimum 2.5 GPA)
- Essay: In 150–300 words, express your interest in retail real estate
Applicant Journey
- Apply to Launch Academy.
- Get accepted via email and register for Launch Academy pre-internship program (approximately 4 hours).
- Complete the pre-internship program and pass subsequent exam.
- Receive access to exclusive internship opportunities.
- Start applying for internships through provided link.
- Check your email regularly for invitations to interview from sponsor companies.
- Congratulations – you’re hired!
- Continue your internship preparation through Launch Academy webinars and virtual learnings sessions.
- Your internship begins.
