Mechanical Engineer I

We are expanding and looking for Entry Level Mechanical Engineers to join our team. This position is well suited for highly motivated individuals seeking a fast-paced and rewarding work experience.
In this position you will actively participate in the full project construction cycle, from predesign through final project closeout.
Job Responsibilities:
Work within multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.
Assist teams in the production & design of various types of HVAC systems including equipment scheduling and ductwork / piping design.
Assist teams in the production & design of various types of waste systems including equipment scheduling and sanitary, grease and storm water design.
Under the direction of a senior engineer perform design calculations, energy compliance and code reviews.
Perform field investigations, submittal review, and project closeout documentation.
Assists in preparation of CAD drawings and construction documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and preferably working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative, fast paced team environment.
Solid organizational and planning skills, must be able to pay attention to detail.
Lifelong learner with a desire to stay current with the latest industry technology and applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver’s license.
