We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join us as our Mechanical Engineering Intern located in Omaha, Nebraska for the Summer of 2024 (May- August) to join the irrigation electrical engineering department in our global headquarters in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly accountable, and achievement oriented.  This is a hands-on opportunity to get real work experience while learning from some of the best in the field.  The incumbent will work a full-time, hybrid schedule, with core office days being Tuesday-Thursday.

Position Responsibilities:

 

Drawing updates

Creation/update of engineering BOMs

Creation of Engineering Change Notices

Test plan support

Report writing

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Successful completion of first year of study for an undergraduate B.S degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering.

Experience with 3D CAD modeling a plus, a willingness to learn required

Experienced with MS office products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read design drawings and schematics

Flexible to changing priorities
