Research & Development Intern/Co-op Fall 2024
Clariant's Catalyst division is seeking Chemistry, Engineering and other STEM interns and co-ops at our Louisville Kentucky location. In this position you will focus on research and development in the areas of petrochemicals, syngas, and analytical chemistry. Our program aims to provide each of our participants with real industry hands on experience and an opportunity to work with some of the Chemical industries most talented individuals. We have multiple intern and cop-op opportunities for the coming Fall/Spring and Summer terms.
Our Programs:
- As an intern you will would have the opportunity to work with us during your "off" school schedule.
- The Co-op will be on-site throughout a full semester and can be aligned with your program/institution requirements.
What you will do:
- Involved in the preparation and testing of catalysts mainly in industrial chemical reactions
- Aid in troubleshooting of reactor test units and analytical equipment.
- Performing various instrumental analysis, calculation and report results.
- Prepare and analyze catalyst samples using various techniques.
- Organize, compile and summarize test and analytical results.
- Prepare reports and present results to supervisor and project team as needed.
- Maintain a very organized and detailed laboratory notebook.
