Sports and Venues Interior Design Intern

Job Description

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in conceptualizing and shaping design ideas, creating diagrams, digital models, and presentation materials, and contribute to various project types by providing production work.
  • Collaborate in reviewing and critiquing initial design concepts in a team environment.
  • Contribute to the production of design development, construction documents, and models, as well as construction details and drawings.
  • Support research and development projects as needed by the office.
  • Contribute to preparing design presentations for clients, communities, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Fulfill any other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Competence and practical understanding of various design software and applications, including Revit, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively present information and ideas in a presentation format.
  • Able to articulate information verbally and in writing with clarity and accuracy.
  • Basic skills in hand drawing and illustration.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and work ethic, showcasing efficiency, flexibility, and a commitment to growth within a dynamic team environment.
  • Capable of self-management and working independently.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Interior Design
