TV Production Intern

Expenses:
Intern expenses will be reimbursed
*Job Description :
Depending on availability and USA-TN's needs at the time, you can select from one or more of the following assignments:

1. Helping produce television programs by scheduling guests in Aspen and Denver as well as for any location shoots.
2. Researching guest biographies and creating questions to ask guests.
3. Research key topics (issues specific to the guests, political candidates, ballot issues [such as hydraulic fracturing], etc.).
4. Helping produce television programs by assisting with on-location productions in Denver and Aspen.
5. Doing post-production for initial editing.
6. Editing programs for broadcast (and to meet broadcast technical standards).
7. Creating 15- and 30-second promotional spots for broadcast.
8. Create Public Service Advertising spots to help select non-profits.
9. Creating and maintaining Websites.
10. Developing and implementing Social Media strategies (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.).
11. Contacting prospective Sponsors for the show and various specific program initiatives.
12. Contacting all the members of the Colorado Press Association to enroll them in the Publishers Advantage Initiative.
13. Contacting all the members of the Colorado Broadcasters Association to enroll them in the Broadcasters Advantage Program.
14. Contacting all the members of the Press Associations of other states (e.g., CA, MT, ND, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, WV, and WY) to enroll them in the Publishers Advantage Initiative.
15. Contacting all the members of the Broadcasters Associations of other states (e.g., CA, MT, ND, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, WV, and WY) to enroll them in the Broadcasters Advantage Program.
16. Establishing and maintaining relationships with newspaper participants in the Publishers Advantage Initiative.
17. Establishing and maintaining relationships with newspaper participants in the Broadcasters Advantage Program.
18. Developing and implementing strategies to expand the national availability of the program.
19. Developing and implementing award strategies for the program’s highlights and best shows.
20. Help organize "Audience Appreciation" and fundraising events.
21. Help organize a special "live" event with recently-retired F.B.I. Director Robert S. Mueller, III, tentatively scheduled on September 22, 2015, with an introduction by Governor John Hickenlooper.
22. Help organize other special events.
23. Help Organize the "Around Our World In 80 Days" global tour of foreign countries.
24. Creation and distribution of podcasts.
25. Any ideas you have which we approve!
Need to have skills in one or more of the following areas:

*Qualifications:

1. Video editing.
2. Website design and maintenance.
3. Research.
4. Good phone skills.
5. Marketing and/or Social Media expertise.
6. Event design and management.
7. On-location production skills (camera work, audio, shoot organization, et cetera).*Application Instructions:
