Human Resource Associate

Title: Human Resources Associate
Employment Type: Seasonal 
Pay Rate: $ 23 hourly
Schedule: Monday through Friday (February through November)
Hours:  35 hours a week
Hybrid work model (Remote working and in Office)
Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Position Overview: Provide administrative and technical support services in the day to day activities within the areas of the Human Resources Office of Seasonal Employment.

Talent Acquisition
•    Track candidate’s recruitment and onboarding inside and outside BrassRing
•    Create requisitions and job codes to open positions in BrassRing
•    Support the HR Generalist team with candidate communications, background checks, and reporting
•    Support content development for and ongoing maintenance of the WCS external careers website (including Part time job website) and Manager SharePoint Site
•    Assist with updating applicant and candidate information in BrassRing.

Employee Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Lifecycle
•    Send out new hire paperwork to new hires via DocuSign after teaming with HR Generalist post job offer
•    Coordinate issuing of Employee IDS and ID # to new hires and managers
•    Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation
•    Upgrade and improve the orientation process
•    Maintenance of employee files and the HR filing system, organize hard and soft copies of employee records
•    Perform administrative tasks related to pay increases, onboarding, terminations, etc. including maintaining HR spreadsheets, creating layoff letters, and verifications of employment.
 

HR Generalist Support
•    Respond to and manages HR inbox for employee engagement and communications
    •    Monitor sensitive issues
    •    Receive incoming complaints or concerns and work with the appropriate HR Generalist 
•    Respond to frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard HR policies and processes, referring and/or collaborating on more complex questions with appropriate HR Generalist or Manager. 
•    In lieu of availability, back up HR Generalists when managers have questions on policy and procedure
•    Create, generate, and maintain HR reports to meet organizational needs
•    Actively participate in continuous quality improvement processes

Qualification Requirements

Qualifications:
•    High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
•    Prior office experience required; Human Resources experience preferred.
•    Must be a team player 
•    Demonstrated ability to work with large amounts of data with attention to detail.
•    Excellent data analysis skills required and reporting experience preferred.
•    Ability to think critically, prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ability to perform routine processes accurately and efficiently.
•    Ability to work well with limited supervision and
•    Demonstrate flexibility in working in working in a team environment

 

Salary Range

$23/hour
