Marketing & Communications Intern - Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce

Overview

The Boise Metro Chamber Public Relations, Marketing, and Communications team produces and publishes a variety of promotional and informational products in support of the Chamber’s mission and the Treasure Valley business community as a whole. We are seeking an intern who is excited to learn new skills in support of our marketing and communications efforts.

Opportunity/Project Duties:

• Website management
• Execution of social media strategies & tactics
• Assist with production of internal and external communication products
• Assist with the production of marketing materials
• Assist with writing, photography and/or graphic design responsibilities as opportunity allows.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
• A creative thinker
• Willing and able to learn programs and practices utilized by this department

Skills you will develop:

• Website management
• Social media strategies and tactics
• Branding & design familiarization

Additional Student Requirements:

• A background check may be required
