SUMMER INTERNSHIP

During the internship, college students will:

● Work on an individual project with your direct team

● Work with other interns on a group project

● Interact with leadership in the company, including VPs

● Network across functions and teams

● Participate in social and team building activities

● Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future

JOB DESCRIPTION

Logistics is looking for a professional, skilled individual for our Transportation analyst Intern position. Chosen candidate will evaluate the organization’s transportation processes and systems and identify inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement. This person will develop and implement innovative and cost-effective solutions that allow for a more efficient and streamlined process. They conduct logistical studies and data analysis evaluations and use this information to recommend strategies and tactics. They present data summaries and proposals to stakeholders and play an active role in cross-department collaboration.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

● Work with other analysts and transportation professionals to learn about how logistics operates and what transportation systems are in place to support the operation

● Identify areas of improvement and develop a solution

● Develop a plan to create the solution and execute it

● Assist the transportation team with other ad hoc projects for process improvement

● SQL/python or other scripting language skills
