Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Facilities Engineers to join our Corporate Headquarters based in Paris, IL The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering to support company facilities projects, including the preparation, Maintence, and updating of all data pertaining to facilities management. NAL will provide relocation assistance to anyone outside of the Paris, IL area.
Your Priorities
While working within the fast paced, automotive environment, you will prepare and maintain documentation and data regarding facilities engineering projects including:
Facility layouts, proposals, expansion plans, bid packages, equipment layouts, concept drawings, etc.
Write specifications for bid packages regarding facilities improvements for management approval
Review and report on facility engineering project workplans prepared by outside consultants for compliance with company standards and specifications
Develop performance criteria for ongoing planning facilities engineering actives
Recommends facilities maintenance standards, policies, and procedures
Your Background
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
2+ years of experience with facilities, CAD, planning, and layout development
Technical understanding of statistics, inspection, testing, dimensional layouts, specifications interpretation, and report writing in a manufacturing environment
