Interior Design Summer Intern

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a temporary, part-time position available for an interior design intern for Summer 2024. The intern will be part of our Interior Design team on a part-time basis (less than 30 hours) from May 2024 through August 2024, with some flexibility with their start and end date.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assisting interior design team by setting up and maintaining the resource library, assisting with obtaining new samples, preparing physical and digital design boards, CA and archiving projects. The intern will also attend vendor events, company meetings, and CEU’s. Presentation skill training will be provided. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have at least two semesters of college level coursework in interior design or interior architecture.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• Experience with the following software: Revit and/or AutoCAD; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Lumion or Inscape 3D rendering software programs;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
• Willingness to learn and a strong willingness to support team members;
• Desire to work on Commercial, Federal and Government projects;
• Interest in learning about materials, finishes and products;
• A CIDA approved degree program is a plus.
