Job Preview

  • We’re committed to spreading God’s love locally, nationally, and internationally; you’ll seek opportunities in a campus community to reach people who are far from Christ.
  • Using relational ministry, you'll influence and lead the spiritual growth of others; our goal is for people to fully integrate into the body of the church and build community together.
  • Work together with the campus staff as you seek the Lord in how to better serve the church community.
  • Focus on developing people who are comfortable sharing the gospel and answering questions to help people grow in their faith and walk with Christ.
  • Lead people into small groups to grow closer to the Lord and the church community around them.
  • Organize baptisms and prepare people for that important step in their Christian walk.
  • Be ready to give pastoral counsel to those in need; assist the campus pastor with ministering to adults through events, outreaches, and building relationships.
  • Mobilize people to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving and sharing their gifts in ministry.
  • Connect and meet with first-time guests as you find new ways to encourage their return.
  • Build something meaningful by enthusiastically mentoring a team of group leaders and volunteers to help with all areas of discipleship.
  • Drive initiatives toward new believers so they attend our First Steps and NEXT Steps class, and eagerly seek baptism.
  • Show the importance of the group-life culture as people progress through our discipleship curriculums.
  • Share your ideas for bringing people together through local outreach and social activities; this helps people move from casual attendees to fully devoted followers of Christ.

At Sagebrush, you don't need to do this alone if you’ve recently graduated or haven't been in full-time ministry. Through our mentors, we will equip you for a lifetime of ministry; Mark 1:17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”

Experience

  • Be a trailblazer when it comes to inspiring others about their relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • You’ll need to be gripped by the vision to fulfill the Great Commission.
  • Hold, or about to attain, a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, Christian Studies, or Leadership. Other areas of focus will also be considered, as will volunteer experience.
  • Have a natural ability to connect quickly with people and encourage them to join a service.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment with multiple competing priorities; yet offers loads of fun while winning one more for Christ.
