Description

Support Community & Engagement Specialist - Aid in the planning and implementation of established outreach plan, including onsite application assistance, social media promotion, media capturing, and post-event messaging. Contribute to Strategic Development: - Assist in the strategic development of the Colorado VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program to enhance its effectiveness and reach. Communication Campaigns: - Collaborate on the development and execution of communication campaigns that align with the organization's goals and mission. Special Projects Support: - Provide assistance to other special projects and interns within the organization, contributing to the success of various initiatives. Website Development: - Contribute to website development projects, ensuring online content reflects the organization's mission and activities. Communication of Project Outcomes: - Assist in the communication of project outcomes and reports to the public, including the release of whitepapers and annual reports.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in social media platforms. - Excellent research and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Passion for community development and nonprofit work.

The ideal candidate would have a passion for community development and nonprofit work. They would feel comfortable speaking to small groups and individuals about services. They are self-motivated and can work independently and as part of a small team.
