Overnight Team Leader - Summer 2024
Position: Overnight Team Leader (OTL)
Salary, Post Training: $360 per week
Salary, Training: $75 per day, continental breakfast and lunch
Major Responsibilities:
This individual will conduct rounds in the residential areas that PreCollege occupies from 9:00PM-6:00AM. This staff person is responsible for walking the floors periodically to ensure that all participants are in their respective rooms on their respective floors as well as contacting UWW Police Servicers and/or supervisors when appropriate. This staff person is also required to submit reports for each round, such as all quiet or interactions with program participants. Reports must be submitted to Summer Manager every morning by 9:00AM. Other duties include serving as a back-up Team Leader when needed.
Deliverables:
- Ensure that behavioral expectations are met throughout the night when “lights are out”
- Observe and respond to any incidents involving student safety or misbehavior
- Be a positive and respectful support if students are experiencing any challenges during the evening
- Notify the Team Leader Coordinator(s), Assistant Summer Manager(s), and Summer Manager with a night time log, every hour they are on duty
- Call the Summer Manager if they need immediate support
- Call emergency services if a crisis is occurring
Potential Dates of Employment: Monday, June 3, 2024 – Friday, July 26, 2024. Minimum of two weeks to a maximum of ten weeks, dependent on position; employment dates subject to change. Required training scheduled in the week of Monday, June 3, 2024; meals provided during training dates are a continental breakfast and lunch for all employees.
