Summer 2024 Corporate Legal Internship

Join T-Mobile's Legal Affairs Department in Overland Park, Kansas, as a paid summer intern for an exceptional opportunity incorporate law and wireless technology! 

You’ll be part of the team that provides guidance to T-Mobile about a wide variety of legal topics including intellectual property, transactional, privacy, and litigation matters.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct legal research and writing, preparation of correspondence, and support on a range of legal issues.

Work with internal client to evaluate projects and products for risk impacts.

Work with members of the Legal Affairs team on a variety of research projects, which may include marketing practices, sales contracts, partnership agreements, intellectual property, privacy, human resources and litigation.  
 

What It Takes:

  • Currently enrolled as a paralegal student and pursuing paralegal degree or certificate
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovative work environment.
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest and skills for learning about the law and wireless technology.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong proven understanding of PC and Microsoft Office applications.  
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
  • Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
  • Intern wages range from $20/hr to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships
