About the Role
Barron's Wealth & Asset Management Group hosts a series of national, regional, and international invitation-only summits to recognize the achievements of the most successful and influential financial advisors in the wealth management industry. The summits are an excellent opportunity for elite financial advisors from across the industry to meet and discuss the latest innovations in the wealth services field, developments in the global economy, and strategies for personal and professional growth.
You will report to the Managing Director, Barron’s Wealth and Asset Management. You have an attitude of willingness to serve and ability to work with clients. You have skills tending toward quality control and accuracy.
This role is hybrid, based in our New York City office.
You Will:
- Support compiling invitation lists from Advisor Database for Advisor Summits
- Update database of attendees to clean up duplicates and outdated information
- Help answer conference inquiries (website, email and phone) and filter to the correct department
- Provide information and support to attendees as it relates to Advisor Summits, Regional events, and Advisor Rankings
- Help with communications to conference speakers
- Help maintain data for conference speakers and submissions
- Update the accuracy of conference content in internal databases, websites, and printed materials
- Support and organize the Continuing Education Credit application process
- Work in systems to manage projects, including FileMaker and Cvent
You Have:
- A dynamic and engaging demeanor and the ability to gain expertise and earn trust with our clients
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions) or Google Sheets
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A desire to learn about a new industry
