Smartphone App Developer (Intern)

Job Summary: 

 ZelTech is looking for interns to support technology product development efforts. These efforts include web application and smartphone app development in addition to data ingestion/cleansing and algorithm development for data processing. This is an opportunity to gain experience as a key contributor for small-scale, early-phase development initiatives. The app will leverage edge computing algorithms to detect events and send associated data to servers for additional analysis.  

Responsibilities:

• Work with a small team to develop a multi-sensor data collection and analysis system.
• Work with a small team to develop a multi-sensor data collection/monitoring app with a notification system and a web interface.
• Implement and refine data analysis algorithms.
• Develop a prototype multi-sensor data collection app.
• Participate in discussions about system architecture and data modeling.
• Gain proficiency in new software packages and development tools as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen.
• Experience with Smartphone app development for Android or iOS (both preferred).
• Familiarity with multiplatform development packages such as Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform
• Experience working with Smartphone GPS APIs.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Requirements:

• In pursuit of a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Experience with audio or time-series data processing.
• Experience with Dart or Swift.
• Familiarity with UX design.
