Marine Scientist
Pinnacle is seeking applicants for internships for the 2024 spring, summer, and fall semesters. We are looking for candidates that are pursuing a degree in marine biology, environmental science, or related field, that are eager to gain experience in the environmental field, and expecting to graduate in 2024-2026. Skills that will help candidates success include: scuba certified, boating and boat handling experience, nature and underwater photography, understanding of ecology and familiarity with marine life identification. The successful candidates will assist with a variety of ongoing field research activities in marine, estuarine, and coastal environments at various domestic locations. Additionally, interns will be assigned an independent project, based on their interests and educational background in marine science. Upon completing their independent project interns will present their work to peers and other local scientists in South Florida. Both paid and unpaid internships are available depending on experience.
