The team you'll be part of
The AI Research Lab at Bell Labs Solutions Research invites applications for intern positions in machine learning, mathematics, networking, modeling, and optimization. The Lab has a long tradition of excellence in research and currently consists of 80 staff members with expertise in algorithmic and computing sciences, network measurement and optimization, information theory, and machine learning. Education Recommendations
Currently a candidate for a Ph.D. or Master's Degree in machine learning, mathematics, data or computer science, computational methods, or a related field with an accredited school in the US.
The successful applicants will work with our current team to conduct high-quality fundamental research and apply the findings to problems that arise in a wide range of Nokia applications. Likely focus areas include:
- Robotics and associated communication technologies
- Large-scale systems for industrial monitoring and analytics
- 3D modeling and visual computing
You have:
- Strong and proven background in mathematical or computing sciences
- A natural interest in innovatively applying fundamental tools and methods to focused problem areas such as robotics, industrial analytics, and 3D modeling
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience writing code for large-scale systems.
