About Boston While Black: Founded in 2020, Boston While Black, Inc. is a digital and in-person membership network providing the spaces, tools, and resources that enable Black people to thrive. In partnership with cities and corporations, BWB curates spaces and experiences to shape city and corporate culture and provide access to resources for professional and personal growth. The Opportunity: BWB is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Intern who is eager to learn and contribute to our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and engaging our community through various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and schedule engaging content for our social media platforms.
• Assist in creating and distributing our newsletter.
• Engage with our members on our online forum, fostering a positive and inclusive community.
• Support the promotion of our events, both online and offline.
• Collaborate with the team to develop marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative, with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
• Basic knowledge of marketing analytics tools is a plus.
