Organic Lab Assistant
Position Title: Organic Lab Assistant
Department/ Office: School of Science: Chemistry and Chemical Biology
Hourly Wage: $10.15- 15

Position Overview:
As an organic stockroom assistant, you'll be part of an interactive learning environment with challenging material and lab work.
Position Duties:
- Set up and breakdown organic lab experiments
- Prepare chemicals and unknowns for organic labs with minimal supervision
- Follow waste management and safety procedures
- Assist with recording and record keeping related to research
- Help maintain supply inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have taken chemistry laboratory course
- Working knowledge of laboratory supplies, including chemicals
- Must have a Federal Work-Study Award in order to be eligible for this position
- Critical thinking skills
- Prompt and completely dependable
