Instrumentation Engineer Assistant

Position Title: Instrumentation Engineer Assistant

Organization: Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI)

Department/Office: School of Science

Hourly Wage: $10.15-15

Average Hours/Week: 10 hours a week

Job Function 

  • Assists instrumentation engineer with routine and responsive maintenance tasks 
  • Handles and organizes engineering office inquiries and assistance requests 
  • Contributes to administrative tasks such as planning, scheduling, purchasing, etc… 
  • Other reasonable responsibilities as assigned 

Desired Skills 

  • Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize 
  • Reasonable proficiency with common software applications 
  • Interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability and desire to learn and be trained on instrumentation 
  • Minimal mechanical aptitude 

Qualifications 

Completion of the following forms: 

  • IUPUI Federal Work-Study (FWS) Authorization Agreement Form 
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
