Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)

The Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) is a post undergraduate scholarship available to qualifying students who wish to earn professional degrees from accredited medical, dental, optometry, veterinary, psychiatric nurse practitioner, clinical or counseling psychology programs. Obligation is to serve a set amount of time as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army at the completion of school, residency, or board certification exams.

HPSP provides you with:

• Full tuition for up to four years, depending on specialty
• Funding for books, equipment, and other school fees
• Monthly stipend of $2,728
• Up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus, plus Officer’s pay during school breaks
• Salary increases with promotions, time in service, and cost-of-living adjustments
