POSITION

Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Swedesboro, NJ

Key Relationships: The Technical Project Manager will act as a Project Engineer and will report directly to the Technical Manager.

The Opportunity: The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will be responsible for machines and processes at the Swedesboro, NJ plant. This individual will maintain project plans within the organization and introduce necessary technical programs to assist product management teams. The TPM is an integral member of the Production team, supporting the Technical Manager.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for categorizing / creating / tracking and monitoring all investment orders and invoices
  • Updates and creates DWG drawings for all equipment investments
  • Creates instruction manuals / SOP’s for new equipment in cooperation with the Technical and Production department
  • Accountable for the creation of equipment orders
  • Responsible for the implementation of Investments in cooperation with PPC, Technical, QA and Production
  • Responsible for planning external and internal resources for investments
  • Maintains all Investment tools working closely with Finance, not limited to Notes, Share Point & Teams
  • Prepares, maintains and communicates cashflow analysis for every investment
  • Provides all relevant / necessary information needed for an ROI calculation to finance
  • Develops investment budgets
  • Creates punch lists and communicating to suppliers regarding post investment machine errors
  • Responsible for the strict reinforcement of the Dr. Schär requirement list
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Monitors budgets and alert management of deviations as they arise
  • Tracks performance and analyze the completion of key goals
  • Plans and organizes technical projects from conception to completion
  • Utilizes engineering knowledge for project management; estimate timelines and schedules; anticipate risks and costs related to the technical aspects of the project
  • Responsible for following Initiatives: Lean Six Sigma not limited to 5S and 0-Error Strategy
  • Responsible for continues Process Optimization and Cost Optimizations
  • Supports the Technical Manager with the following: Training needs for the Technical Staff as well as Maintenance and Spare Parts Management
  • Supports the Technical Department with extraordinary Troubleshooting
  • Supports Production with Training of Line Employees

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The following experiences and/or qualifications are required:

  • BS degree, Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ technical experience
  • Ability to create and present to Sr. level executives
  • Effective at utilizing measuring devices and translating measurements into DWG drawings
  • Ability to read machine blue prints
