The qualified candidate will perform evaluations and treatments of adult and pediatric patients with disorders of the visual system, with an emphasis on binocular vision and eye movement disorders. Duties to also include performing strabismus evaluation including motor testing, evaluation of Fresnel and spectacle prisms, convergence exercises, and orthoptic treatment. Responsibilities also include infant and pediatric vision assessment, retinoscopy, and refraction. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

EDU REQUIREMENT:  Bachelor's Degree and 2 years post-graduate training from an accredited orthoptic training program

LICENSURE: Certified Orthoptist (C.O.) credential from the American Orthoptic Council (AO)
