Sports Media, Inc. is a leading sports media company dedicated to delivering innovative and captivating content to sports enthusiasts worldwide. We are excited to offer an internship opportunity within our Advertising and Sales department. This internship provides a unique learning experience in sports advertising, marketing, and sales planning. Applicants must be available to attend meetings on Mondays at 9:00 AM, Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, and Fridays at 8:00 AM Mountain Standard Time. If in the Skill Bridge program applicant must be available to attend meetings on Thursdays at 9:00 AM Mountain Standard Time.
Learning Application: The Sports Advertising, Marketing, and Sales Planner Internship at Sports Media, Inc. is designed to provide hands-on experience in developing and executing advertising and sales strategies within the sports media industry. Interns will work closely with professionals in advertising, marketing, and sales, gaining practical insights into the dynamic and competitive landscape of sports media.
Responsibilities:
Advertising Campaign Planning:
- Assist in the planning and execution of sports advertising campaigns, including creating media plans and coordinating ad placements.
- Collaborate with the advertising team to develop creative concepts aligned with client objectives.
Marketing Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to promote sports media content, events, and partnerships.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral and promotional materials.
Sales Support:
- Support the sales team in preparing sales presentations and proposals for potential clients.
- Assist in researching and identifying new business opportunities within the sports industry.
Client Relationship Management:
- Interact with clients to understand their advertising and marketing goals.
- Assist in maintaining positive client relationships and addressing client inquiries.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth.
- Provide insights to inform advertising and sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in sports media, advertising, marketing, or sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with advertising and marketing tools.
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
