Podiatry Student Employment Opportunities
The United States Navy Offers an Employment Opportunity for Students who are pursuing a career as a Podiatrist through our Health Services Collegiate Program.
Students must be accepted to one of the following Graduate level accreditation :
Applicants must be a graduate from a podiatric medical school accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) (https://www.cpme.org). Applicants must be accepted to a three-year surgical residency approved by the CPME of the American Podiatry Medical Association. In addition, it is highly encouraged to be board qualified status recognized by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Inability to obtain a valid state license following completion of residency may result in administrative separation from the program.
This specific program will Enlist all students as an Active Duty Service member of a paygrade of E6.
Current Base pay for an E6 for all branches of service is $3,135 a month.
You will also be eligible for an additional financial support. Active Duty Service members in this Program will receive Basic Allotment for Housing (BAH). Allotments are a non-taxable source of income.
BAH is dependent upon the Zip code of your school.
