Learning and Development Intern

THE ROLE

As an HR Talent/Learning Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to various facets of Human Resources Talent areas such as DEI, Talent Management, Engagement and Learning & Development.

 

YOUR IMPACT:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Partner with the Organizational & Talent Development Leads to design, implement, manage, and continuously improve talent programs.

Specific projects may include:

Partnering on the Annual Engagement Survey for Production Team members to include drafting communications, running completion reports, and analyzing the engagement data to formulate focus areas and action plans

Assisting in the process to evaluate online learning content providers, to include: researching various providers, setting up discovery meetings with content providers, etc.

Assisting on any DEI initiatives that happen over the summer, such as PRIDE in June, supporting EBRG events, drafting communications or analyzing data

Partnering with the Mid Year Performance Check in process, learning the Workday process, helping to troubleshoot issues, run reports and draft communications

Gain experience working in a learning management system and completing regular maintenance tasks such as curating off-the-shelf content, custom reporting, etc.

Gain experience in supporting learning programs such as live training events or webinars, by helping with event logistics, registration, technical support, etc.

Develop and implement custom training or communication material using PowerPoint, Word, etc.

All other duties or projects as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   

Strong problem solving, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Strong skills using Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The ability to work as part of a team, demonstrated through involvement with student organizations, community involvement, work experience, or other activities.

Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Marketing, Business, or related field.

Program and project management skills in a fast-paced working environment.

Strong time management skills to work on numerous projects and tasks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
