DIRECTOR/TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Full-Time 40 hrs a week

Job Description

           Share Directing duties with a second Director.

           Fill in at other workstations when not Directing as needed.

           Direct and punch news programs

           Work with News Producers to facilitate special elements they may want to use.

           Oversee crew to assure that they are performing at their best.

           Facilitate training of new employees as needed.

Assist with other productions such as sports, election coverage, telethons, and special events.

Job Requirements

           College Degree in Television Production or related field

           Positive attitude

           2 years’ experience directing newscasts preferred.

           Must work well with people in all departments.      

           Must have dependable transportation.
