This position is in the Region 1, Mission Support Division, Human Resources Branch. About Region 1.

This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

Duties

At the entry level of this position, you will:

  • Serve as the Regional Outreach Coordinator, developing and fostering recruitment sources from a variety of educational institutions, professional organizations, minority/affinity organizations, public employment services, and other activities/organizations;
  • Serve as Human Resources (HR) staff adviser and technical authority, providing recommendations and guidance on pre-hiring strategies, and skill assessments for potential applicants.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
