Position Overview

We are looking for a UI Designer with strong visual skills to join our talented global team. Our day-to-day operations at AIYA rely on this role, so we need an individual who is creative and passionate about using components and someone who is a pixel perfectionist.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into the final products.
  • Design and deliver web and mobile interfaces based on best practices.
  • Deliver specifications that comply with existing brand guidelines.
  • Articulate the rationale for your design decisions to other designers and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineers to understand limitations on design options.
  • Participate in creating a content development strategy.
  • Create overall concepts for the user experience within a business webpage or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers.
  • Manage multiple projects at one time, switching focus between projects as required to manage priorities.
  • Contribute to a design system consisting of components and UI patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio that has compelling UI visuals with solid process and thinking
  • Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Canva, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred 1 year of experience as a key member of a design team, as well as experience working directly with stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience applying brand guidelines within a design system.

Job Type: Full-time 

 

Pay: $60,000.00 per year

 

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
