Business Development and Marketing Coordinator Intern (CCCE)

**NOTE: This is a low or unfunded opportunity. You will be eligible to apply for summer internship funding from Carleton if you will be returning to campus in the fall.

About Believet
Believet Canine Service Partners, a nonprofit provider of service dogs to veteran clients with mobility and/or psychiatric needs, such as PTSD, is expanding its services to the general public, offering boarding, day training, and grooming for dogs. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development and Marketing Coordinator Intern to assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies while also supporting the business development aspects of these new services. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and business development within this industry. We are flexible on your start date so you can combine this internship with working Carleton’s Reunion weekend or Lighten Up resue sale.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Plan Development: Assist in creating a strategic marketing plan to promote these new services, including online and offline marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media, website, and promotional materials to attract potential clients and increase brand visibility.
  • Business Model Assessment: Assist in assessing and guiding the development of our business model with regard to these services.
  • Customer Feedback: Support customer feedback collection to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in the services we provide and a passion for the Believet mission
  • Knowledge or coursework in marketing, business, or related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Access to a personal computer
