We're Hiring a Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant!

Are you looking for hands-on experience to gain some insight in the world of HR?
The Office of the Provost & University College HR team is seeking an undergraduate HR Assistant. This position will primarily focus on assisting with administrative tasks and special projects to support our HR team.
General Administrative Support Duties May Include:
- Calendar scheduling to support recruitment processes.
- Data collection and reporting for various HR initiatives.
- Monitoring Provost HR email inbox and responding to inquiries, as needed.
- Assist with updating standard processes including policies and procedures, organizational charts, job descriptions, website pages and/or other miscellaneous special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Willingness to learn and follow set guidelines and procedures.

Basic proficiency in:
- office support tools including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).

Working proficiency in:
- effective written and verbal communication.
- accuracy and attention to detail, including strong organizational skills.
Qualifications Desired:
- Basic knowledge of HR operational functions and resource management.
- Interest in or educational background in human resources field.
- Work-study eligible.
Terms of Appointment:
- Hours/Week: Anticipate around 10-15 hours per week during HR team office hours (~8:00a-4:30p)
- We understand that school comes first and are happy to be flexible with any scheduling needs!
- Position immediately available and will continue through the end of the 23-24 academic year.
- Salary: $11/hour minimum, dependent on qualifications of candidate.
