What you will be doing: 

  • Learn about Synopsys’s diverse businesses (e.g. software, hardware, software security).
  • Assist the Internal Audit (IA) team with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 404 process walkthroughs and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Support the IA team with SOX flowchart updates and validation.
  • Participate with the IA team on scheduled financial and operational audits. 
  • Develop skills related to auditing, internal controls, finance, and accounting.


Requirements:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience demonstrating problem solving.
  • Must be currently enrolled in college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.


Preferred: 

  • Accounting/Finance background preferred.
  • Experience with MS products (Excel, Visio, etc.).

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $24.00 - $48.05/HR. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
