Human Resources Internship

Position Summary:

  • The Human Resources Intern will support the recruitment team with sourcing for talent to fill openings within the Sales and Corporate Functions.
  • This position demands an uncommon balance of creativity and drive, along with interpersonal savvy and analytical skills. You must have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
  • Recruitment experience not necessary.  We can train the right person who has a desire to learn and grow in the fields of human resources.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Associate Recruiters and Recruitment Manager to determine strategy for complex, hard to fill role and any special projects.
  • Balance and successfully manage multiple job requisitions across a variety of roles.
  • Administer and execute recruitment processes to hire for current openings and proactively develop a pipeline of talent for the organization.
  • Provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions through sourcing passive candidates, networking, complex internet searches, and employee referrals.
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, department background, job descriptions, and expectations.
  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about BBU and the position.
  • Review candidate resumes, credentials, and perform initial phone screens for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Achieve high levels of internal customer satisfaction based on the creation of intentional and consistent feedback loop.

Education and Work History:

  • Candidate should be currently in pursuit of a degree with a focus in Human Resources. Flexible schedule available, however, must be willing to work at minimum 30 hours / week.
  • Maintenance of the confidentiality of any personal or company information encountered.
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written & oral) skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
