Intern - Video Production - Cary, NC, Summer 2024

The Engineered Materials Group Global Communications and Branding Internship serves to provide a mutually beneficial experience for the candidate and the organization. This position will drive engagement across the organization by supporting internal and executive communications, as well as support global marketing and business development initiatives and strategic direction. Regular duties will include varied aspects of video production; creative concept, videography, postproduction and delivery of content. The internship will be based in Cary, NC and the individual will report to the teams Video Producer and interact with the EMG Global Communications and Branding team as well as with the Marketing Communications and regional team members in support of division initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Production of internal and external communications video content for use across multiple platforms including company website, blogs and social media
  • Performs all post-production activity, including video graphics, animation, digital effects, and music selection.
  • Within the brand guidelines, use storytelling to personalize business initiatives video content
  • Build and maintain extensive video and photo catalogue based on existing and new video releases
  • Additional assignments as warranted
  • Support website content development with guidance from EMG Video Producer

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be actively pursuing a degree
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Strong leadership skills and a “can do” attitude
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop. Etc.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and within a team environment
  • Strong innovation and creative thinking; self-motivated
