Accountant-University of Wisconsin Madison

The accountant will be responsible for payment and tracking of invoices from a variety of vendors, both US based, and international. They will also be responsible for collection and processing of tax documents, both US and International for new vendors. The accountant will review and advise on a variety of complex financial transactions. They will create financial reports to be used for inclusion in grant and other funding applications. The accountant will also maintain financial records and provide customer service for staff, faculty and outside vendors as well as assist with financial reimbursements. This position will also include advising our faculty and staff with strategic plans on spending of funds.
