Environmental Chemist position at the U.S. Geological Survey Columbia Environmental Research Center. 

The Columbia Environmental Research Center addresses national and international environmental contaminant issues and assesses impacts of habitat alterations on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.  Environmental discovery can improve the health, vitality, and regenerative capacity of organisms, processes, and relationships in nature. CERC supports these goals through innovative research, diverse partnerships, technology development, and the sharing of data and knowledge.  

The position is located in the Environmental Chemistry Branch that develops and applies innovative methods of sampling and analysis to answer critical questions about the role of chemicals in the environment and the potential risks to organisms and ecosystems.
