We are seeking Tax and Audit Interns for our Wenatchee, Quincy, Yakima, Moses Lake, Othello, Tri Cities, Omak, and Walla Walla offices.

As an Intern, you will assist and provide audit and tax services to clients, with a primary focus on gaining exposure to a particular industry. You will utilize your accounting educational background to work as part of a team on various stages of an engagement or project. Based on performance, career goals, and business conditions you could walk away with a full-time offer.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expands industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.
- Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of audit and tax procedures, workpapers and systems.
- Handles routine client questions and works with client to collect necessary information for audit and tax return completion.
- Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
- Collects and analyzes data to detect deficient controls, duplicated efforts, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Assists with the detail work of audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance services for clients.
- Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns
- Completes research and special projects as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam.

- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites.
Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range. For Washington, the compensation range is $18 - $30 per hour.
