Activity Assistant
Position Type: Federal Work Study OR Non-Work Study
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing to the operations of Student Life including, but are not limited to the following:
- Program activities for student engagement.
- Check out and organize activities that include games, manage new conference room meeting space and special activity programs.
- Provide a welcome presence in the lower lever Student Life areas.
- Additional duties will include answering phones, responding to emails, and networking with parents/families/students.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be willing to know (or learn) the areas of Student Life that students can get involved in.
- Be interested in a specific area in Student Life.
- Be willing to come to work with a positive attitude, creative ideas, and welcoming personality.
- Be willing to work in-person and independently.
- Be able to provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and guests.
Anticipated Schedule:
Students will work 10 – 12 hours per week within the hours listed below:
- Monday – Friday: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Saturday: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Sunday: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
