Electrical Design Engineer

RMF Engineering, Inc. a national engineering firm has immediate opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer in their Baltimore office to support major electrical distribution projects for large campuses located throughout the United States.

 

The qualified individual will be required to perform electrical engineering studies and functions associated with the design and construction support of medium and low voltage systems, power distribution systems and electrical systems for Healthcare, Laboratories, District Energy Plants, Electric Substations and large electrical infrastructure projects for a variety of customers including Universities, Pharmaceutical campuses, and Healthcare campuses. 

 

Duties include preparation of construction drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, performance of field inspections and construction support activities (attendance at meetings, shop drawing review, responding to RFI’s, general construction support). Also will be require to author and present technical engineering reports utilizing power analysis software.

Qualifications

Ability to travel will be required.

Minimum requirements include a BSEE and 0-2 years of related experience.

Experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT is preferred, but not required

EIT Certificate is preferred, but not required.
