INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN AUDITOR?
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform audits, reviews, compilations and various consulting engagements.
- Work with a team of 2-5 fellow staff members under supervision of a senior, manager or partner.
- Identify and document controls and weaknesses in basic accounting systems (routine systems such as A/P, A/R and payroll).
- Perform a thorough evaluation of assigned areas and regularly identify potential observations for improvements.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic work paper preparation.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and relationships
- Work toward completion of CPA certification.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
- Must meet minimum requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
- Strong academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.0).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
