Must be at least 18 years old, currently be enrolled in college or a 2024 graduate

Salary:

$15/hour and/or $150 per day - depending on the shift. Events and camps worked ranging from $75-$150 + tips.

Description / Key Responsibilities:

This position will work closely with the Director of Beach Operations, logistics department, and other beach managers to ensure that all Vacayzen guests have their beach needs met. These interns will help oversee vended beaches all across the Florida panhandle. This includes the Panama City Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and Destin locations. This role needs individuals who are collaborative, driven, and have great guest relations skills.


 

Business Operations - Beach - 4 days a week

  • Ensure all beach guests associated with Vacayzen have all of their needs met.
  • Work in areas such as Panama City Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and/or Destin.
  • Maintain beach equipment, such as umbrellas, chairs, and tables.
  • Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere to the beach.
  • Perform Quality control checks to ensure guests receive the highest quality of equipment available.
  • Responsible for inventory management and relaying inventory availability to Vacayzens sales and service team.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Director of Beach Operations and other Vacayzen employees.
  • Some logistics coordination and employee scheduling will be involved.
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervising manager.


 

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old or older, currently be enrolled in college or be a 2024 graduate.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
  • The internship program is May 13th through August 10th, interns must be available to work the entire duration of the internship program.
