Who you are:
You have a degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture with an emphasis on Landscape Design.
You are creative, motivated, visionary. You have a passion for making clients’ dreams come true. You would enjoy working with a small group of talented professionals dedicated to the design, installation and management of beautiful outdoor spaces.
The role:
The Landscape Architect/Designer is a key position in an award winning firm looking to the future. This position will include developing design solutions and graphic presentations along with making sales presentations to clients. The right candidate will bring strong skills in landscape design as well as technical computer skills. The individual will be involved with client communication, project installation oversight, and providing expertise to clients and the production team.
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills with a focus on team & people
Strong creative visionary perspective, including hardscape design & sales experience
Time management: the ability to prioritize, assert, advocate & take action
Knowledge of plant material
Knowledge of hardscape materials and installation
Experience in Dynascape or similar CAD program, Uvision or similar 3D software
A dedicated team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field
Three plus years of experience in a landscape company
Construction experience helpful
Ability to do take-offs and estimates
Able to provide a portfolio of current or past design work
This opportunity is more than just a desk position, you will be visiting clients and project locations. You will work closely with other designers and our installation project manager to see projects through to successful completion.
