CSO is a progressive behavioral health agency providing an array of clinic based and outreach services to children, adults and families. Additionally, we are the Emergency Services provider for Hampshire and Franklin counties. We offer a fulfilling and team-oriented work environment promoting collaboration and support.

We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist to provide treatment services and leadership in best practices, clinical consultation and supervision, and progressive healthcare reform. This position will provide diagnostic and evaluation services for clients and prescribe, review and monitor medication as needed. They will provide medical and psychiatric consultations to staff and collaborate with other programs and agencies to coordinate care. This position offers opportunity for growth and will require some supervision of mid-level Practitioners. 

The ideal candidate will be a Massachusetts licensed Physician with Board certification or Board certification eligibility in psychiatry. Preferably, they will also possess three years' experience in mental health treatment, including at least two areas of expertise (e.g., psychopharmacology with seriously mentally ill individuals, child and family treatment, mental retardation, crisis intervention, substance abuse, or group services).  Additionally, this candidate will have excellent clinical, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.  Computer proficiency is required including the ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software.
