Operations Research/Deterrence Analytics (AF PCIP)
United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) located at Offutt Air Force Base, NE is responsible for deterring strategic attack through a safe, secure, effective, and credible, global combat capability and, when directed, is ready to prevail in conflict. USSTRATCOM is seeking two Operational Research Summer Interns who will work side by side with a multi-disciplinary military and civilian team assessing adversary leadership strategic communications impacts to strategic deterrence.
This internship program is part of the Air Force’s Premier College Internship Program (PCIP), a 10 to 12 week paid summer internship program gaining invaluable hands-on experience making tangible contributions to USSTRATCOM’s critical mission. Following completion of the PCIP internship, you may qualify for a full time paid position or transfer into the prestigious PALACE Acquire (PAQ) Internship Program, a post-grad internship program.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Full Time Undergraduate student (Sophomore or Junior) or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Pursing a BS, MS, or BS/MS in an Operational Research Analysis or related major
- GPA 2.95 or above
- Minimum of 60 semester credit hours
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (funded by the United States Air Force)
