Engagement Management Undergraduate Intern

 

The Software Asset Management (SAM) Services is a customer-facing role established to support Enterprise License Agreements and resolve software licensing and compliance, while protecting and building the customer relationship with Dell Technologies.

The role is demanding, involving multiple stakeholders and requires strong negotiations, sound judgment, critical thinking, superior analytical skills, a service-oriented demeanor, project management skills, process improvement capabilities, refined communication skills, and precise attention to detail.

What you’ll achieve
As an Intern Undergraduate, you will assess customer entitlements and the licensed software and interpret complex license and maintenance agreements. You will work with closely with internal teams, including the field sales organization, finance and legal, as well as Dell Technologies customers to help educate customers on the terms and conditions of its agreement(s), licensing, and business practices. The candidate must have the desire and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in order to be successful in this role.


You will:

  • Perform tasks of varying complexity, requiring judgement with limited direct supervision  
  • Analyze license purchase and deployment data
  • Provide analysis of license usage and write reports, which outlines ownership, usage and proper resolution
  • Participate in projects to document and improve processes and add to the licensing knowledge base
  • Work on overflow tasks from various groups within the company
