Compliance Officer

We invite you to apply for a position on the Monroe Health Center team as Compliance Officer.  The Compliance Officer will ensure compliance with federal and state laws that are relevant to healthcare.  Implement and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.  Will work closely with Administrative staff, collaborating with all departments to ensure coordinated compliance efforts and identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.  Must have a Masters of Legal Studies or similar law degree is required.    A professional certification in Healthcare compliance is also desired, but not required. Prior experience in healthcare compliance, preferably in an FQHC or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.  Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines is desirable.  Billing and Coding experience preferred, but not required.
